What’s happening in Norfolk this Bonfire Night!

Remember remember the 5th November…oh yes it’s time to pop on your woolly hats and grab your sparklers as bonfire night is upon us again!

Whether you’re looking for a magical and musical child friendly display or a glowing festival of fun, Norfolk has a variety of displays to choose from this year.

Here are some of the top firework displays to visit this Guy Fawkes Night, along with a few places to stay!

Wroxham Barns

Bring a blanket, some camping chairs and pitch up in your own socially distanced square in Wroxham Barn’s firework field, with each square fitting up to six people. This low bang firework celebration will be set to child friendly music and includes entry to the Junior Farm, rides at the Fun Park, food trucks and a licensed bar.

Tickets: £65 per square

Violet Lodge is still available to book for Bonfire Night and sleeps two people, or alternatively The Lodge at Alderfen sleeps three guests. Both properties are in Neatishead which is just under ten minutes away from Wroxham Barns.

Autumn Lights Firework Fiesta

This amazing festival of light is back at the Norfolk Showground with a bang including fantastic range of glowing and parades, DJ’s, bands and stage entertainers, a drumming and fire show, funfair and street food vendors, and not to forget two outstanding firework displays across the evening.

Thorpe St Andrew Fireworks

Join in for a night of fireworks, food, a fantastic funfair, stalls and a bar. This fantastic firework display just on the outskirts of Norwich is well suited to entertain the whole family.

Applegarth House is available to check in from the 4th November and is only a 3 minute drive from Fitzmaurice Park (or a 15 minute walk!) or alternatively St Clements House sleeps 6 guests and is 15 minutes’ drive from the park.

Hunstanton & District Round Table Bonfire & Firework Display

The annual Hunstanton music, firework and laser display returns for 2022 bigger and better than ever. There’s entertainment for all the family including funfair, hot food and drinks, a rock choir, mulled wine and stalls following the firework and laser show. Tickets must be purchased in advance and can be posted or collected from the box office prior to the event.

There are several properties in close proximity to Hunstanton, including The Courtyard in Snettisham (about a ten minute drive from Hunstanton) or Manor Road Cottage in Dersingham (just under twenty minutes away.)
