Reviews

"Probably my best experience to date. The house was lovely and very well set up, and the area was quiet and within walking distance of the city centre and parks. Georgia and Holly were incredibly helpful, including allowing us to arrange the drop off of a wheelchair in advance and coming to our rescue when we locked ourselves out"

Rose B on October 2023

"Exactly as described! Clean and convenient to the city. Well equipped and spacious."

Location

Located around 2 miles from central Norwich, guests can reach the city centre in around 10-minutes via car, 35-minutes on foot, or using the regular public transport routes available.

Norwich city centre is home to terrific range of shopping districts, pubs, cafes, restaurants, and attractions. A trip to Norwich would not be complete without paying a visit to its famous cathedral. Enormous in stature, this magnificent 11th century cathedral features the second largest cloister in England and is open every day of the week with guided tours available. For those short of time, we'd heavily advise even just using the grounds surrounding the cathedral as a spot for a quick picnic and sandwich on your way through the city.

There is a wonderful selection of parks, river spots and gardens to visit throughout the city. Explore the city along the riverside walk, with little attractions such as Cow Tower along the way or visit Whitlingham Country Park on the edge of the city, where visitors can hire canoes and kayaks, or simply enjoy the pleasant walk around the lake. Despite being a city, there's numerous nature filled and grassed areas where can guests can take a break from the hustle and bustle of a busy day shopping!

Whether you're seeking a high street favourite or independent outlet, Norwich has a real variety for even the most enthusiastic shopaholics. Chantry Place is the go-to shopping mall, whilst the 11th century market, and the famous 'Norwich lanes' are your best bet if you're looking for something a little unique. Norwich market is great for a bargain, or even just some lunch with many international food stalls offering cuisine from all around the world!

For entertainment, there's several cinemas in each corner of the city, bowling alleys, escape rooms and trampoline parks. For a unique cinema or bowling experience we'd highly recommend a trip to Cinema City, or The Bowling House.

Norwich offers so much to do and see, and with most of the city centre explorable on foot, it makes for the perfect destination for your next city break!
