The Nest is a comfortable and cosy space perfect for couples exploring Wells and the wider Norfolk area. The property features a bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a small kitchenette and outdoor seating. Only a 10-minute walk to Wells Quay filled with shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, ice cream parlours and more.

Allocated parking is available on the property’s driveway, shared with ”The Barn.”

 

The space

The Nest is a 1-bedroom annex attached to a family home. The accommodation consists of a double bedroom with king size bed, en-suite bathroom with shower and W/C and a small kitchenette area just outside of the bedroom. The kitchenette area is equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and kitchenware. The bedroom also includes a table with seating for two and a flat screen TV with DVD player. High speed Wi-Fi is provided.

Property access is via its own separate entrance so guests may arrive and depart at their leisure. This entrance leads onto a hallway, which is occasionally used by the owners to access their studio (the owner is an artist). The Nest’s private accommodation and facilities are upstairs. Outside there is a table and chairs for two, it’s a great place to relax on a summers evening! There is a sheltered private parking space in the carport.

"We have stayed in Wells many times over the years and was delighted to find this accommodation. It is perfect for a couple, close to restaurants and the quay/ shops. Having a parking space was an extra bonus. You only have a microwave and toaster as cooking equipment but we only had breakfast in the room and was happy to eat out. There is a fridge and plenty of crockery/utensils so we had all we needed for our stay. "

Additional Information

Two friendly Labradors live on site and will often be around to greet you on arrival. The gate leading on to the driveway must be kept closed, please let yourself in and shut the gate behind you.

The driveway entrance for The Nest is shared with ''The Barn'' - an adjoining family home, the entrance to which is behind a large wooden gate between red brick walls. There is a sign for ''The Barn'' which will allow you to know you're in the right place!

Location

Wells is an unspoiled seaside destination waiting to be discovered. The quaint town is home to a range of fantastic pubs and restaurants. The golden sand on Wells beach stretches for mile upon mile when the tide is out and is considered one of the best beaches in Norfolk!

A walk along the beach to Holkham enjoying miles of perfect golden sand is a must. Younger children might enjoy the indoor play area ‘Play land’ and the newly opened Wells Maltings holds craft events, cinema films, live music and events suitable for all. Carnival week is also not to be missed, usually at the end of July, it includes a raft race, tug of war, duck race, sandcastle and sculpture competition, carnival parade and live music events throughout the week.

Walk into the town centre from the Nest in 10 minutes.
