The space

Bedrooms:
There are three bedrooms located on the upper floor of the cottage, consisting of a spacious double room with plenty of storage space and a hand basin.  There are also two identical twin rooms, comprised of well-designed, built-in bunk beds as well as an additional play space under the roof – loved by older children! Unfortunately, we advise that these rooms are not suitable for under 5’s and use by older children is at your discretion. They would also not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues, and it is worth noting even the lower beds are high off the ground and can only be reached by a ladder. All three bedrooms feature rustic vaulted wooden ceilings. 

Bedrooms:
All three of Marlpit Cottage’s bedrooms are located on the upper floor of the property. Perfect for Mum and Dad, the spacious double room features ample storage space and a convenient hand basin. Two identical twin rooms boast well-designed built-in bunk beds, with additional play space under the charming vaulted wooden ceilings – a favourite among older children.  

 [Please note, the bunk bedrooms are not suitable for those under 5 and use by older children is at your discretion. Due to ladder access, they are also unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues.] 

Bathrooms:
The upper floor hosts a dedicated shower room, while directly across the main hallway, you’ll find a sink and toilet. An additional toilet is conveniently located on the ground floor. 

Living Area:
Relax in the rustic lounge at the rear of the property, offering ample seating with a comfortable sofa and two chairs. Catch your favourite shows on the Smart TV or unwind with some music on the stereo. Cosy up together and stoke up the wood burner on those chillier Norfolk nights!  

Kitchen and Dining:
At the front of the property, the well-equipped kitchen and dining area provide all the essentials for preparing scrumptious meals. The kitchen includes a fridge with a small freezer compartment, electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, and smaller appliances like a microwave, toaster, kettle, and utensils. Whether making a pack-up for the beach or gathering around the dining table for family meals, Marlpit Cottage is perfectly equipped for your needs.

Outside:
The pièce de résistance of Marlpit Cottage is undeniably its enchanting garden. Perfect for pet-friendly travellers, the garden features a delightful patio area—an idyllic spot to savour your morning coffee on warm summer mornings.
