Thank you for booking your stay at Manor Lodge, here you will find some additional information for the duration of your stay.
Please let us know your arrival time 1 week before your reservation. Upon arrival you will be greeted at the property and shown around, this will include some quick instructions for using the pool and gym area. We’ll then leave you to settle in however we are contactable for the duration of your stay should you need any assistance.
The property will be available from 3.00 p.m. on the day of your arrival and we ask you to vacate by
11.00 a.m. on the day of your departure.
When checking out please check all windows and external doors are locked, that the pool is covered and the sauna is switched off. Then just post the keys through the letter box on the porch after locking up.

Manor Lodge is in a very rural location, as such your satnav may not always take you to the right place. Please check your final destination matches roughly with the marker on the map below. You can also click on or copy the GPS coordinates below in google maps to see the exact location. Written directions are also available.

From Norwich direction (The South):
You will pass North Walsham train station on your right. At the traffic lights go straight over, at the mini roundabout go straight over. At the next mini roundabout (opposite Lidls) turn left, this is the Happisburgh Road (pronounced ‘Haysborough’). Stay on this road as you leave North Walsham and proceed through the village of White Horse Common, you will then pass a converted mill (Ebridge Mill) on your right with a canal on your left, after this take the 2nd left (Bacton Road) then 1st right this is a windy lane with steep banks, you will see Manor Lodge situated on your left hand side as you descend the hill, branch left at the fork opposite the row of cottages and Manor Lodge is immediately on your left.
From the East/North:
You will enter North Walsham from the A149 you will pass Waitrose on your left. At the traffic lights turn left, take the first right (opposite the industrial estate, there is a right filter lane) Lyngate Road. At the end (T junction) turn right (Mundesley Road) take the next left (Crow Road) then left/ straight onto Bacton Road. You will pass the Bluebell pub on your left. Follow this road for approx 2 miles then turn right at the crossroads sign posted ‘Bacton Woods’. Take the next left (opposite Bacton Woods car park entrance).
Continue on this road, straight over the next crossroads. This is a narrow lane with steep banks, as you descend the hill you will see Manor Lodge on your left, branch left at the fork opposite the row of cottages and Manor Lodge is immediately on your left.
What to bring
We provide all the essentials to get you started including bathroom towels, bed linen, tea towels, washing up liquid and loo roll.
Please bring your own swimming towels for use in the poolroom and gym.
Manor Lodge also features hard floors and wooden stairs, we recommend bringing slippers or indoor footwear.
If you are bringing a pet don’t forget to pack dog towels and bedding.
Although we ask that you treat our home and belongings with the same care that you would your own, we appreciate that accidents do happen. If you would kindly just let us know – we do not usually charge for small breakages.

Most of the larger supermarkets deliver, make sure you give them your mobile phone number in case of any problems. There is a Waitrose and Sainsbury’s (with petrol station) in North Walsham, also chemist, QD and other small independent shops. Market day is Thursday and a Farmers market last Sunday of each month.
