The Nave is a stunning 2-bedroom converted chapel, just over one mile from Gorleston-On-Sea beach. Original in more ways than one, this unique property offers a comfortable place for a nights sleep with modern facilities and amenities whilst retaining its historical charm and architecture.

Offering the convenience of having the town centre right on their doorstep, whilst also providing great access to all of the East coast of Norfolk including Great Yarmouth, Winterton-On-Sea, Horsey Gap and Sea Palling.

The property offers private off road parking for 1 car.


The Space

The Nave features 2-bedrooms, kitchen, living room, two bathrooms and an office space with desk.

Inside, guests will appreciate the careful efforts made by the owner to modernise the property in terms of features and comfort, without losing the charm and historical characteristics this property possesses. Notice the large stained-glass windows and curved wooden beams – distinctly recognisable along with the gorgeous hard wooden floors.

The master bedroom is located on the ground floor, offering a super-king-sized bed along with its own ensuite bathroom. The bed can be split into two singles, though please make sure to request this at the time of booking. On the top floor of the property is the second bedroom and king-sized bed, along with a shower room and toilet, and an office space with desk or dressing room.

Recently refurnished the living room offers comfortable seating along with a smart TV so guests can enjoy all their favourite streaming sites (guests must use their own logins), for those cosy evenings in.

The fully equipped kitchen offers a full range of utensils and cooking facilities along with dishes, silverware, and cutlery.

Gorleston-on-Sea is a seaside town located in the East of Norfolk just 25 miles away from the bustling city of Norwich. With Great Yarmouth only 5 miles away, along with many of the popular attractions along the East coast in reach, you’ll find plenty to do whilst staying at The Nave.

Gorleston high street is home to a bustling array of clothing shops, restaurants, pubs, takeaways and convenience stores, with just about everything you’ll need located in one place. Not forgetting one of the town’s main attractions - the large and beautifully sandy beach! Whether sunbathing in the warmer months, or even just a winters day walk along the seafront by the cliffs, there’s so much to love about this beach. And of course, a day at the seaside wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the amusements, fish and chips and an ice cream!

Among the many options of pubs and restaurants, some of our favourites include The Lord Nelson, Olive Garden, Buffalo Bills Smokehouse, The Fig Bar and Grill, and Gambas. And of course, if you’re looking to stay in and cook, there’s supermarkets in walking distance, with Morrisons just under 15-minutes’ walk away.

In Great Yarmouth, families will enjoy a day out at one of the many attractions, including The Pleasure Beach, Joyland (for the younger children), and The Sea Life Centre.

If you’re happy to travel by car, we’d highly recommend a visit to Winterton-on-sea and Sea Palling beaches, and of course a trip to Horsey Gap to see the seals.
