Guests of Quinton Gurney House will have free access to the shared outdoor heated swimming pool between 1st May to 30th September, with the tennis courts open for use throughout the year.

Quinton Gurney House offers the best of both worlds giving guests access to rural parts of Norfolk with countryside walks, whilst only 5 miles from the hustle and bustle of Norwich City Centre.

Numerous footpaths and bridleways are easily accessible from the property, great for keen walkers. Keswick Riding School is also located just down the road offering riding lessons for all abilities.

For those looking to spend their days in the city, guests can look forward to a wide-ranging shopping experience with each area of the city offering its own unique qualities for those looking to pick up an item or two! For your familiar high street shops, Chantry Palace is the place to be, with high street chains and popular clothing stores.

Head towards Norwich market for a bargain or some international street food, or perhaps through Norwich Lanes to find original independent stores and cafes! For those who love something a bit different we’d highly recommend a trip to the ‘Tardis-like’ antique shop known as Looses Emporium, or Anglia Square favourite, Aladdin’s Cave.

If shopping is not your thing, then there’s plenty of pubs, restaurants, and cafes to visit, alongside numerous entertainment venues and attractions. We would highly recommend a visit to The Bowling House or Cinema City, to enjoy a unique experience enjoying old time favourites. Norwich City is conveniently accessible by car or via a twice daily bus service.

If you’re looking for a break from the city, Thetford Forest is just over 30-minutes’ drive away offering mountain biking, paintball and adventure activity – Go Ape!

Gorleston beach, as well as Southwold can both be reached in 40-60 minutes by car. For those looking to explore the beauty of The Norfolk Broads, riverside towns Wroxham and Hoveton are around 15 miles away.
