Reviews

"We stayed again in April 2023 and the house was excellent. The garden on the river with the hot tub was excellent. Lots of games for the kids in our group. All the rooms are of a good size with plenty of bathrooms. Lots of great spaces to socialise with friends: big kitchen, dining room and living room. We’d definitely stay again 5*"

Idyllically placed along the River Yare, this holiday home offers home comforts, a beautiful scenic setting as well as entertainment with a table tennis table and hot tub! If you do seek to explore the area around you, Thorpe has a delightful selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes! We would certainly recommend The Rushcutters Arms, which is just a short walk away as well as Blofield Cafe & Michaels Grill at the Oaklands Hotel.

Norwich City centre is about 30-minutes by foot, with so much to see and do you’ll undoubtedly find yourself short of time. Lined with unique stores and independent cafes, the Lanes will most certainly take you back to a more nostalgic time of shopping. The heart and soul of the city belongs to Norwich’s famous 11th century market, where locals and tourists alike love hustling for bargains, and trying foods from all over the world.

With architecture to be marvelled at, and amazing guided tours, this is something even the kids will enjoy! For a show or late-night comedy make sure to pay a visit to Norwich Theatre Royal and The Norwich Arts centre. The latter also boasts one of the coolest bars and beer gardens the city has to offer!
